Introducing Connect for Mobile: Easy Marketing Automation for Hairstylists

When you’re one hairstylist managing one business, you’re responsible for all aspects of your business, which can take a lot of your time. But one of the most important activities you have to do to grow your business is to promote it, and it can be tough to stay on top of marketing when clients are in your chair, you’re buying products, or managing your book.

In addition to all of the features that Stylie has (online scheduling, point of sale, bookkeeping, credit card processing, and more), we’re excited to introduce Connect, our easy-to-use marketing automation for hairstylists. It makes it easy for hairstylists to set-it-and-forget-it so they can focus on what they do best: making their clients look and feel beautiful.

Connect makes it easy for hairstylists to send timely messages to their clients using these three primary features:

  • Automated Marketing Messages: Triggers you can set up one time but will continue to send automatically so you don’t have to.
  • Email Marketing: Schedule marketing communications to go to your whole list or specific clients.
  • Text Message/SMS Marketing: Schedule promotional text communications to go to your whole list or specific clients.

Here’s an overview of each feature.

Automated Marketing Messages for Hairstyling Clients

With Connect, you can set up marketing messages that will automatically be sent to your clients based on different triggers. It’s great for hairstylists who want to “set-it-and-forget-it”.

Currently, we offer 5 automated triggers:

  • Welcome: an email that will go to new clients who schedule time with you
  • Birthday: show your client you care and maybe offer a special offer
  • Has not been in for X days: an email to remind clients to schedule time with you when they haven’t been in for a while
  • Spent X($) in Y days: an email to show appreciation for clients spending money with you
  • Referral: an email to thank clients for sending business your way.

All you have to do is turn on the message, fill out the message, and save it. Stylie One takes care of the rest.

Schedule Promotional Texts and Emails

Connect also allows you to send promotional emails and text messages to your clients. These are great for sending timely communications clients when you’re trying to get more business in the door or re-engage with old clients.

In your Stylie dashboard, you can select “Add Email” or “Add Text”, and then start creating your communication. First, name the message, add a subject line (Emails only), and write the message you wish to send. You can choose to send to your whole list or send to specific clients that match specific filters.

Scheduled promotional emails for hairstylists

Currently, we offer three filters:

  • First visit: Send a message to a first-time client to add value to their experience
  • Gender: Offer a special on men’s haircuts or women’s color
  • Last visit: Send messages to your clients who haven’t been in for a while

After you’ve sent the filter or chosen to send to your whole list, you will then see how many clients that particular message will be sent to based on the filter. Then, you can schedule your message for a specific date and time.

You will see the scheduled email or text in the dashboard, and Stylie One takes care of the rest.
